Replatforming a DTC storefront around checkout conversion
An illustrative example of how we’d rebuild a direct-to-consumer storefront whose checkout flow was losing customers to load times and a confusing multi-step cart.
This is a conceptual project illustrating our approach, not a completed client engagement — no outcomes below are presented as real client results.
- Conversion-focused checkout
- Custom bundling & subscriptions
- Sub-2s page loads
The problem
A growing DTC brand's storefront was built on a page builder that couldn't support custom bundling logic or sub-two-second load times, and every workaround added more fragile custom code.
Our approach
Replatform onto a modern commerce stack with server-rendered product and checkout pages, custom bundling and subscription logic built as first-class features, and the existing inventory and fulfillment systems integrated directly rather than synced on a delay.
What this approach delivers
A faster, more maintainable storefront where merchandising changes ship in hours instead of waiting on a developer to work around page-builder limitations.
